Sex and the City, Actually Love in the City

I finally got to go see the SATC flick. It was great to see those ladies up on the big screen. I hadn’t realized how much I missed the show. But aside from the laughs and oohing and ahhing at the fashions, I came away mildly in love with Cari’s new apartment.

It was bold and oh so Carrie Bradshaw. My favorite item, which I actually couldn’t stop thinking about was this Love print by Paul Smith. Do you want to know how much I love it? I hunted it down at The Rug Company and even asked for a price on it. Fooling myself into A- believing that I might be able to afford something for which you have to contact the seller for a price and B- that I might be able to afford anything showcased in Ms. Bradshaw’s apartment. Well, two days after my request I got a lovely price list.

My love costs $2,750.00. I’ll have to convince them to make a $25 poster out of this beauty…didn’t they know the frenzy they would create when they put up on the big screen? It’s inspiration like this that gets that craft itch going for me…maybe I’ll conjure up something of my own, hmm….
