Do Good December 6th

Today J went to Whole Foods to pick some of his new favorite treat (some soy cheese pizza pockets…deelish!). At the register, he donated two dollars to the local community food bank.

We’ve been doing some passive giving since we started. As the month rolls along, we’re looking into donating to Kiva and Modest Needs– both are very interesting organizations who are working to empower individuals in need. We’re taking a look at each right now to determine how we’ll donate to each of these organizations. I had never heard of either of these but thanks to some great blogs (listed under “Do Good Reads” on the right) I am discovering a whole world of charitable giving!

6 down, 25 to go!
